Rev. Hanna Peterson

     Pastor Hanna grew up in Walla Walla, Washington with her parents, Rev. Robin and Kriss Peterson, brother Amos, and sisters Ella and Cleo Peterson.  After graduating from Walla Walla High School in 1994 Pastor Hanna attended and later received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and French Language from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. 

     Reverend Peterson received her Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in June of 2002 and was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in College Place, WA on Dec. 1, 2002. 

     She was then installed at First Presbyterian Church of Hollister on Dec. 8, 2002 and served there as the Associate Pastor for Family Ministries.  While there, she had many duties including Worship Coordination, Children's Chapel, Mission Ministry, Contemporary Worship, and visitations.  Hanna served there faithfully until being called to the First Presbyterian Church of Kelso, WA in fall of 2005. 

     She was installed as the pastor of our church on Oct. 16th, 2005, and has been exceeding our expectations ever since.  Not only does she prepare our worship services each week, but she is the lead singer on our praise team, provides special music both vocally and instrumentally, and oversees many of the other activities that go on in our church. 

     When Pastor Hanna is not busy fulfilling her duties, she enjoys a host of interesting hobbies.  Some of these include; singing, dancing, horseback riding, cooking, watching TV and movies, quilting, and spending time with good friends.
